Sugar, Butter, Flour

Jill came to visit last week and besides going to the usual shopping places (Gilroy outlets, Santana Row and Valley Fair), she wanted to check out this bakery across the street from my hotel called Sugar, Butter, Flour.  Jill is a red velvet cupcake connoisseur and tries them whenever she can.

This one had pecans on top of the frosting and I liked it because the frosting wasn’t too sweet and wasn’t slathered all over like some other cupcake places.  At $2.50 a pop, it’s a steal compared to Sprinkles!  I believe Jill gave this one 3 stars out of 5.

    That cupcake looks really good. I think I’ll have to try them some time. I think I’ll like it if it doesn’t have quite as much frosting as at Sprinkles. The Sprinkles cupcakes were a bit of frosting overkill.
